there was a lady on Nancys corner that does pillow caes dresses to go to different countries check sewing with Nancy web site you will see a lot of them

I just got some fabric to make some - there are patterns on line but the patterns were on sale for $1.99 so I got one because it had some extra pieces, like pants and crop top. If anyone has any hints I'd appreciate them.

I don't plan on it so far. I think I'm just going to turn them under and meet at underarms. That's how they showed it online. I've made a doll dress this way. I want to be able to run the ribbon through the front and back casing and draw up and adjust and tie on the shoulders.

I printed a pattern for these dresses yesterday. Go to fabshophop.com and there is a great pattern there under Make a Pretty Pillowcase dress. I'm dying to try making one.

We (a church group here) made some to send to a mission group in Poland.

I found a Simplicity pattern that uses the vintage embroidered pillowcases.
