You can buy a finished 20 x 20" pillow at IKEA for less than $4. They come in white, blue, and red. You can cove rthem any way you like.

There's no way I'd attempt that, with an actual down pillow. Down would be everywhere!

I didn't click through to the link, but I have taken a bed pillow and turn it into 2 throw pillows many times. It's WAY more affordable than purchasing ready-made pillow forms. I just shove the stuffing (poly, down, whatever, it all works) to one side, shove the pillow through the sewing machine twice, then cut inbetween the two lines. The best pillow I ever bought was a poly filled one from IKEA, it was in the clearance section for $1.50.

Good idea. I have two extra bed pillows that are good candidates for this. I would give them to goodwill but I don't think they accept pillows.
