Don't wear any, problem solved.........

Hand sewing the button holes small would be my suggestion.

T - Shirts for me....no PJ's! Does sound like the buttons are too small, or the button holes are too big.

have done that too!

have tacked both ends so now the buttons are snug. But, since this is a jersey-type knit, I'm sure they will stretch out again...then will just sew up the front as Jan does?

Just sew the buttonholes closed a little to make them smaller.

That is usually the second thing I do with button PJ's. Wash and shrink them first. I usually leave the top button unsewn, if it is too small to fit over my head. Even the most expensive do not stay buttoned for me.

I buy pull over the head pj. I got fed up of always having to do something to button or buttonholes.

anyone else experiencing this?
I also don't wear PJ but needed to for a hospital stay. And I had the same problem. I am not big busted in any way, shape or form. I stitched that closed after I got home and love the difference. No worrying about accidentally "flashing" company LOL. So, you have my blessings, stitch away!!

[QUOTE=Chasing Hawk;7479548]Don't wear any, problem solved......... /QUOTE]

Girl after my own heart! I have hated for years the way bedclothes of any kind pull against my 100% cotton sheets(flannel in winter) and wrap me like a mummy. Much better rest without any.....which makes sleep studies and hospital stays a bit of a pain!!

I bought mine last yr but they are still in the take up pile. It sounds like to me that they didn't stablize the fabric behind where the button holes are and the fabric does have some stretch to it. I'm glad to find the out, I may put some stabilizer in it or even take up the button holes a little. I have lots of button up pj shirts and never had this problem. Something to consider when I get around to sizing them to me.
