Sweet baby!

Yes, our dogs stay inside a lot during this weather. They like it on the cool floor etc.

My two Schnauzers "worked" with me in the garden this morning until about 10. They started giving me pitiful looks first, then got verbal about going in the house to get cool. They really are fair weather fur babies.

Both of my dogs have bandanas that I can keep wet to cool them in the heat. I just buy yet cheap cotton ones at dollar stores for them. Wash as needed. I pull it off, wet it, and put it back on just before they go outside.

Awwwwwww, poor puppy. Quick get out the ice cubes. I freeze water in a balloon. Then put it in a pan. Minus the balloon. The fur babies go crazy for it. Keeps them very cool, and they love to lick it and paw at it too.

My two small dogs, big cat and tiny kitten live inside all year. Heat and cool as appropriate.

I use plastic pop bottles. Fill them with water & freeze. Make a terry cloth bag to slip it in & put it in their bed or kennel or just lay around on the floor. They love to lay next to them to keep cool.
