A friend of mine in TX emailed me and asked me for some help. Her son's 5th grade geography class is working on a project. The class is making a map out of the US and the continents. She asked if I would send her son a postcard for his project. She also asked me if I knew any one in other states or out of the US that might want to mail her son a postcard. I told her about this board and how helpful you guys are that I would post his request. If any one would like to help this boy pm me and I will send you his address. He is trying to see how many different postcards from all over he can get for his project. Show him where you are from. All postcards will be accepted. All help is very much appreciated.
Thank you from me and my friend.

I started this for my son once to teach him the states. I think I got about 35 or so... maybe i should find them and make a list of missing states to see if i can complete it.

It is a great idea.

That would be cool. I used to travel and I made sure I got me a postcard and a refrigerator magnet from where I had gone. I started to save the quarters from the states when they first came out for my son, But slowly I started to spend them. Now I have to replace them, that would be fun too.
