    power on

It's been 5 long days without power. The storm took down power lines, it took 5 days to get restored. We are all electric! No water or cooking !! While waiting for the hot water tank to fill up, for a nice hot shower, I went and played with my sewing machine!

Glad to hear you are back up and running....i am sure the shower will be well appreciated!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Diet Dr. Pepper in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

Glad for you that your electricity is back on. We depend on it for everything.

So glad you got the power back. I burn most of the lights in the house and hate to be without lights.
