Hi all, I have been working on a embroidery project and have been using a hoop I purchased in a local thrift store. I have never seen another one like it. It has a name on it " Princess". It doesn't have the usual screw to tighten it down. It has a metal attachment that expands as you put your cloth on it. It is the best design as I never have to adjust it as I am working on my project. Well, I broke it today. Does anyone know about this particular hoop and wher I may get another one.?

Your hoop may have been a collectors item. I got a round one with a similar flat spring for a Christmas gift when I was little kid, more than 65 yrs. ago. Still use it.

Still looking for this hoop. It is a woden hoop and the top piece has a small metal hinge in it that expands when you put your fabric on it. No screws, and it hold the fabric very well. Help me find an oval one. Becky
