I don't think there is such a thing.

Or if there is, I don't know of it.

"Someone" is paying the UPS, USPS, FedEx, or other shipper's charges.

Lately I have received a few items FREE SHIPPING - the seller paid the shipping.

As they say ... there's NO such thing as FREE!

And even if the shipper pays the shipping .... the buyer pays for it in reality as the price has been upped to cover the costs! :) The difference being you know your costs, and there's no guess work.

Isn't it funny how we like the words "free shipping"? I've found myself looking for other things to buy when the site offers free shipping for purchases over a certain amount. Like, "Hey if I buy that $15.00 item, I won't have to pay $7.50 shipping". Hmmm.....

When I post fabric for sale, if the sales have went pretty well, I will offer 'free shipping' to the buyer if they buy the entire piece. Sometimes I offer a $1 off per yard or free shipping. I don't believe that I overcharge for anything. Most of the fabrics I sell, when purchased were $9-10 a yard fabric, trying to get $5-6 is a reasonable recoup. Most times I will post that buyer buys entire piece, I pay shipping. Nothing is free but business is business. Semantics is nothing but a word game which works. "Free" is very eye-catching word.
