30th birthday help

My daughter will be turning 30 in June. I have absolutely no idea what to get her. I want something special. She is a teacher. She is married and has a little boy who is 15 months old. She is not a quilter. (yet). LOL. They just moved into a new home. Please give me some ideas. I know I can count on this board. Thank you.

How about a gift certificate to a nice restaurant for 2 and an offer to baby sit while they are out?

how about a quilted tote with a clear pocket on the outside so she can change out pics of the boy as he ages

Restaurant gift certificate sounds like a good idea.

A Lowes or Home Depot gift certificate and a magazine/book from there with DIY or decorating ideas. ALL new home owners need trips to Lowes!!

Does she have an amazon wish list? Does she have any hobbies? Is there a particular room she wants done in a special way where you could conspire with her husband to finish. I have seen incredible scrapbooks done to celebrate her birthday with different stages of her life highlighted. A day of pampering? Do you have a budget?

What about some landscaping like a tree, the giving tree book to read to her son and a picnic quilt? I am imagining a big sprawling lawn, not a row home in the city...

30 can be quite a significant birthday for many women. We all pitched in and bought our daughter an emerald ring - the stone is the birthstone of her first born.

My friend in California - her friends contacted all her friends, far and near, to create a page for a friends memory book. We each made a scrapbook page signifying our friendship with Candi. It was loads of fun to create and very exciting to hear about her reaction to each person's page.

Because its a significant birthday, I tend toward the very personal gift for this one.
