DH decided he wanted the larger size Kindle so I ordered it yesterday, early afternoon. Shipping was free but there was an option to have it sent next day for $4. I thought hey that will great, it will be here for Father's Day but I wasn't really expecting it to be here today since I ordered past noon. The Fed Ex guy came this morning with the Kindle. I sure was surprised.

I LOVE my Kindle. I go to Amazon Kindle Store and look at the bestsellers priced Low to High and find lots of good stuff for free. Also look at the Top 100 list every few days..sometimes books will come out for free for a few days. Its a nice way to build your library.

I bought Kindles for every adult family member last year for Christmas. One click and I was done shopping in less then one minute. The cover with the built in light for the Kindle is great! No batteries needed. That may be what they all get this year!

I'm jumping on the I love My Kindle bandwagon. It was suppose to be for my husband's birthday. Oh, well. Someday he'll get his own. I've "ordered" over 40 free books. I'm impressed with how good some of them are.

Schools would save hundreds of thousands in books if they would go to e readers. School books are outdated as soon as they are published. With E books any data could be updated immediately. No storage, no lugging books back and forth, no lost books. The E readers would be cheaper then s student's list of books/ Most ollege text books are available in E form and saving the students hundreds of dollars. It's rather silly not to see the advantage of e books for students.
