I have an old pair of loose Spandex "sweat pants" that I wear when quilting. (And, I confess, to the grocery store if I'm too lazy to change.) They're all soft and stretchy and I love them.
So last weekend, my DH and I were taking a nap on Sunday afternoon when the doorbell rang. He jumps up, grabs MY sweatpants, thinking they are his, and sticks his HUGE size 13 foot into one leg before he realizes he has the wrong ones.
So now my beloved workpants have a large foot-shaped stretched out place in the front. Washing and drying didn't help. The spot is actually threadbare!
I guess I may have to break in a new pair.

Reminds me of when we were first married and I was bringing home two armloads of groceries. I rang the doorbell for DH to come help. He was just getting out of the shower, grabbed a robe and opened the door. I nearly dropped the bags laughing at my 6'4" big guy in MY frilly bathrobe not even covering his knees and hardly covering much else. I rushed him inside and said "Look!" We laughed til it hurt and after 42 years it's still funny :)
