Another Blessed Day
Yeah the post photography has started loading pictures of our soldiers in training during their training exercises. To top it off I found him dead on in one of the photo's....and even better they let you order copies of the photos. Bet you can't guess what I did. Yep, I ordered photos. Got to thinking about a term I used in my post above...I used a saying "Dead On" meaning a good view, or good camera shot of him. However, after looking at this again I see where this may not read this way if someone is not familiar with the saying. So I hope I haven't startled anyone.

Sort of startled me when I saw 'dead' but then I saw on and knew what it was. Good job spotting him and ordering pictures!
|
Yeah, I had to read it twice, but then I got it!
|
Yes, I read it twice also. Glad you got the pictures.
|
I also was shocked momentarily. But I missed word on. I re-read it and knew what you meant. Barny

what branch of the service is he is? My son just completed basic at ft. Sill and I would love to find a photo or two.

Scared me there for a minute! Then I understood. As mom to an Air Force tech sgt. and to a navy CPO, I understand pride in our loved ones! Now if only they would be allowed to come home for a bit!
|
Ditto! Startled me.

Glad you clarified that - - -

I had to read it twice and clean my glasses. Glad nobody was dead.

Isn't our English language amazing. I was thinking, "dead", that's kinda morbid, but whatever makes her happy. LOL Glad no one is actually "dead" in your photos you ordered!
