My Mom who is in her 80's has been cleaning out stuff in the kitchen. She found this and can not remember what it is. Anyone know?? We have asked so many people and tried to find it on the web no luck. I figured I would ask you gals.

How big is it? I am not sure what it is either.

sharon b 07-12-2012 01:06 PM

Maybe for frosting on a cake - to make waves ? Does that make sense ?

DebraK 07-12-2012 01:17 PM

that's what I would guess.

sewmuch 07-12-2012 01:19 PM

Looks like something given at a Tupperware party...that is if its plastic...

Lori S 07-12-2012 01:20 PM

Looks like something that would be given away at a Tupperware party.. that has some obscure use... like a pumkin seeder.

carolaug 07-12-2012 01:46 PM

My sister inlaw was a tupperware dealer in the 70's but says she has never seen it before. That was my quess too.

javin22 07-12-2012 01:49 PM

I used to have one of those and I wondered the same thing. I even sold Tupperware. And I don't know what it is. I hope you find out.

chips88 07-12-2012 01:53 PM

Does she have a George Foreman grill? I think something like that comes with the grills for scraping them off.

Sunnye 07-12-2012 02:03 PM

Is it "hard" or soft and bendable?
Could you possible open a jar or bottle cap with it?
It looks like a bottle top would fit in the hole while your fingers fit in the curves to snap or pull the cap.

Just a thought.

suebee 07-12-2012 02:04 PM

Could it be something to clean the grooves of a grill-like surface??

paulswalia 07-12-2012 02:07 PM

A pie crimper?

carolaug 07-12-2012 02:08 PM

its hard plastic. I have been searching tupperware gadgets so far no luck

DACO48 07-12-2012 02:18 PM

Pie crimper was my first thought too.

BellaBoo 07-12-2012 02:36 PM

With the hole in it, it may be for pasta?

Neesie 07-12-2012 02:38 PM

I believe it's an artificial foot, for an injured duck.

Well, it's Tupperware utensil. Look at the top left of the picture.

I don't know what it is . . . but other than a duck foot, it looks like it'd be good for draining liquid, from a can of veggies.

SouthPStitches 07-12-2012 03:34 PM

Some kind of food mover........chop veggies on a board, use it to shove and scoop up and in to the pan? Just guessing.

raptureready 07-12-2012 03:38 PM

I think you hold onto it with the hole and use it to crimp pie crusts.

You win for the best response! Funniest thing I have read on this board in a long time.

Well that made me snicker and snort!

Msbaby 07-12-2012 07:04 PM

Well, I used to have one, but do not remember what it was for. I am pretty sure it was an "extra" from a tupperware party. I am 79, and my memory bank is a bit "used up". How about putting your fingers in the "grooves", your thumb in the round hole and painting your nails? Or, like one of you said, maybe it is a foot for a lame duck.
If anyone knows, please tell us.

weasier22 07-12-2012 07:09 PM

I guess only Tupperware would make something like that. What I loved most about this post are all of the comments. It's been great chuckling at all of the responses! We're such a great group!! Thanks for brightening my night!

ctipton 07-12-2012 07:11 PM

I love mystery's. I have'nt a clue. It looks like a tupperware doodah

nonnie60 07-12-2012 07:15 PM

I was a Tuperware lady and this is what you use when painting your nails!! Honest...Thumb in the hole and the other fingers rest on top to be painted. Ta da!!!! Do I win??

Patricia Faye 07-12-2012 07:17 PM

I think Msbaby is correct. I believe you do put your your fingers in the "grooves", your thumb in the round hole and paint your nails.

QuiltE 07-12-2012 07:48 PM

If it's tupperware, it'll have it on it.

Naturalmama 07-12-2012 10:11 PM

I sent a question to the ebay'er that was selling this. I'll let you know what they say!

QM 07-12-2012 11:14 PM

Maybe it is for pressing waves into pie crust edges.

ione 07-12-2012 11:29 PM

I also thought it was a pie crimper but it is an extremely handy gadget obviously!

Annaquilts 07-12-2012 11:45 PM

That is what it reminds me of.

LOL Yes, you win one. The only thing I like is the dooh dahs for peeling oranges. Got to have a drawer full of those since I got a large family and several orange trees.
