Anyone sewn any very simple and easy dolls or animals??

This would be a great way to use up more scraps, other than a simple rabbit, I have not tried anything. Has anyone else? Thanks

I also would like to know how to make some very simple old fashioned rag dolls.

Try this link to thread here on the board. These are really adorable and would use up a lot of scraps. There is a ink to the tute for making them.

I use the pattern by 'Carol'...it has two pieces and the animals are cute, cuddly and 'sit' well! Her patterns were sold through McCalls, Simplicity...one of those major pattern companies. Hope this helps.

I have used the "Carol" patterns for many years, and they are so cute and easy. I bought all her patterns years ago at the International Quilt Show in Houston. I think that was before she was associated with a major pattern company. I have made all of them, in furs, cotton and all sorts of fabric, and find them easy, fun, and so cute!

I just finished sock monkeys with my grand children...so much fun and really easy.
