This is our newest family member Aryiana Lynn. Pictures were taken at about a week old. We had her blessed by my husbands father (What a great man). The dress she is wearing was made by my aunt and mother when I was born. Yep, this is my blessing dress. Mind you that I was blessed when I was about 6 months old and somehow the dress fits my little one at a week old lol. The blanket she is laying on was made by my grandmother (my dads mom) just for the baby blessing. She did such a wonderful job. I can't wait to pass both of these items down to my daughter when she has her first baby girl.

How special to use this blessing dress. The dress is beautiful. When I made my daughters wedding dress I made sure I had extra fabric so I could make a blessing dress for our first granddaughter. Still no granddaughter, but I have made both my grandsons beautiful little blessings outfits with some of the material. I remember when my children had their blessings. It was quite an event since they are triplets.
Took up a good portion of the meeting just to get them done.
