belt clip question
I am hoping someone will have an idea where I can get a belt clip I can use in my grandsons hatchet case. I used to see some that were a flat metal in a shape that you could slip it in a slot on the case the then the other side slipped over the belt or waistband. S shaped I guess. I used to have a lot of that kind of stuff when my kids were home and I was sewing for them but I can't find anything now. I have searched on the net and have found the kind that needs to be riveted or sewed on. I will use those if that is the only thing I can find but I would like to find the other kind so he can use it with other things too.
I will keep checking back to see if any of you have ideas. Oh I don't want one that requires a belt because he doesn't wear a belt. Thanks in advance!! Lynda |
What about using a carribeener clip. Put it thriugh the hole in the case and through a belt loop.

Sent you a pm.

Thanks I will try that. A carribeener won't work. It would be too hard to get the hatchet out. But a good idea for other things.

There is the kind of velcro that you only need 1 side, it sticks to itself, so he could make a loop..would that work?

Have you checked out the resale shops, GW or Salvation Army for an item that can be taken apart.

Check Scouts and some of the sporting goods stores...also google

Thanks these are the ones I found when I googled and they require rivets to connect them to the pack. I may have to go that route if I can't find the thing I have in mind. I know my phone case has a belt clip on it but I can't find it to see how it is attached.
I so appreciate all the help!! Lynda
