Didn't think it was going to work but I asked hubby to come to my LQS with me and take a look at machines since I'm looking to get a Bernina. I thought we'd be getting the 380 but because I wanted the BSR and it wasn't available for that model he has agreed to me getting the 550 instead! I think I'm still in shock but I go get it on Thursday, had to share my exciting news!

Guess I know what I've got for my christmas and anniversary present! They were also on sale this week as well and it comes with a beautiful carrying case on wheels!

Wow, this is awesome! I have a used Bernina 180E and I absolutely love it! Mine is too old to accept the BSR technology, but that's OK. I'll get a different machine in the future.

If you have not done FMQ with a Bernina before, you're in for a most wonderful surprise since they do a fantastic job at it!

I'm a happy camper just took my 550 out of the box! I'm like a child on Christmas morning just needed to tell someone who would be as happy as me!

Told DH be happy for me too - I'll be quiet quilting and he can watch all the sports he wants at night, lol

I'll post a picture of it in the morning, now I've got an excuse to buy even more fabric, haven't dropped that bomb on him yet.
