Blanks for embroidery
Silly question but I am new to embroidery and was wondering if there is a good place to get blanks such as baby bibs?

No such thing as a silly question when you want to learn and especially when you are new to a great adventure. I know there are lots of them out there but right now I can't remember right off hand. Have you tried googling embroidery blanks? I got a great price on plane terry bibs at a dept store last yr to use for embroidery. I'm hoping to do up some kitchen towels for Christmas. Right now I'm making matching checkbook covers, eyeglass covers and bookmards w/inserted lace and a couple are also getting organizer covers and a Nook cover. Have fun with your embroidery machine; it's addictive.

Look in AC Moore, Joann's or Hancock. Also you can probably find them online for a good price.

I get a lot of mine from allaboutblanks.com. They have regular linens, but have a kid/baby section and the quality is nice. Good luck with your machine,, you'll have lots of fun, I love mine.

With just alittle time, you can sew them yourself. You'll save money and have the opportunity to choose your own colors and patterns.

I think SingerTexas.com has them as well...

One of the best places I have found for bib and burp cloth blanks
is at EMBROIDER THIS. But I also get my bib blanks from where my SIL works as she can get them for me at her cost (employee discount). If your able to buy wholesale than Imprints Wholesale might be an option for you. PLUS Imprints has 14 colors (white terry bib with color binding) to choose from. |
