DH and I decided on an overnite trip to another part of Ontario. This is part of the Trent Canal system and moves boats from one level to another. Everything from Personal watercraft to huge cruisers.

Have you seen the Lift Locks at Peterborough too?
Both are great "man" interests when out touring about!

It's quite the experience to be in a boat moved in this way. While visitng at friends' cottages we've "experienced" the ride ... and oh my!

We've ridden the locks at Peterboough on a boat tour. What an experience! thanks for the tube
