I recently bought the Bounce softener you attach to the wall of your dryer. Got it free and thought it would be okay to try it out. Thought how nice for regular loads of clothes and for washing new fabric for quilting. Well, after a few loads it fell off its sticky back holder and broke into pieces making a horrible mess in the dryer and it took a long time to take the sticky back off and clean the interior of the dryer. I had steam blowing out my ears I was so mad.

I would report this to the maker of Bounce.

Oh man I love mine. So sorry that happened to you.

Wow, I've been using mine for months and months with no problem at all (actually I find it very convenient and hassle free). Sorry you had that happen.

definitely call Bounce's toll free number and report it, you will probably get a bunch of coupons for free products.

Oh, I really like them. I haven't had any problem with it falling. I still have the original holder stuck in the dryer from a year ago. I just refill it with a new bar. I use the bigger 4 month size, maybe it has more adhesive surface. The instructions have specific place to put the bar in the dryer. That may make a difference too.

I hope you contacted the manufacturer. And maybe even your local TV station. They sometimes have complaint programs.

I have seen this product and it looked too good to be true.
