Like all cats, my Jazzy loves boxes. This one was her favorite in the master bathroom. I couldn't make myself get rid of it so I decided to decorate it to match the bathroom. LOL, do you think she will ever sit in it again???

Too cute! If you put a few pieces of just washed/dried laundry in there, I bet she'll get into it, for sure. :D

nativetexan 05-26-2012 07:06 AM

or put a pair of socks in there! very cute idea!!!

LOL! So cute! And for that very reason I wonder whether she'll keep it her favorite. Do let us know, okay?

i got my mama cat another round toy with a ball in it. she has a smaller one and used to love it. this one has the ball more accessible to her. She rules the roost!
you never know what they will think worth their while!

Make it a size too small and she'll be in it.

Cats and boxes - if CAT chooses to be in it - all is well.
If HUMAN wants to put CAT in box - HUMAN should be prepared to get scratched!

Oh the things we do for our little friends!

llong0233 05-27-2012 07:59 AM

Now that it's all pretty it's highly unlikely she will go for it again. You know how they are!

leighway 05-27-2012 08:33 AM

Put a paper bag in it.

Pretty box. My cats will stand and wait for me to empty a shoe box, that they can't fit into anyway, but will get in and try to fit. They get settled in it, though. Pass the box 3 hrs later and there is another cat sleeping in the box. Like they didn't have anywhere, any other boxes to nap in.

Latrinka 05-27-2012 02:50 PM

Awe, it's so cute! I think she'll get back in it, just you wait and see!

LOL! So True So True! :D
Linda your kitty's box decor is adorable! Let us know if she ends up liking it! Our kitty used to sit on the side of the tub and try to drink drops of shower water.

My husband had box of paperwork on the closet shelf beneath his shirts, one day we looked all over the house for TC, the cat, and found him curled up in the box, in the dark closet. Couldn't have been comfortable, but it seems to be his go to place. Took out the paper work and put in a shirt he still goes to it.

Found a box that had cotton ball packages in it at Wallyworld. Covered it with plastic and put a blanket in it. It's outside the front door. Sometimes we have two coming out on a chilly morning! I love my cats.

LMBO, well, she definitely got back in the box. She peed in it this morning. So much for that idea. Now I have to get her a new box for sitting in. LOL Kittys, they certainly have a mind of their own.

Very cute. Knowing cats, if you put your very best quilt in there, she will climb in and lay down.

Linda - My cat didn't need to know WHO runs your house - lol. Very cute, I bet your fur baby LOVES it.

Marysewfun 05-28-2012 10:30 AM

I love that little circle with the ball in it - will have to look for one for our little "princess".

And like all cats, the smaller the box the more attractive it is - and if mom yells "no, not that one!" - it becomes all the better!

I see the signs of a pretty pampered kitty

bglock1 05-28-2012 03:17 PM

Oh no! I can't believe she peed in it! My two girls (cats) can be vengeful sometimes too! I was going to say you could put a quilt you are currently working on in there! That's what mine lay on! Good thing you didn't!

Caswews 05-28-2012 04:32 PM

Oh dear ..well just get an empty box and put it out for da kitty !LOL

wildyard 05-28-2012 06:14 PM

I guess peeing on it was her way of telling me not to mess with perfection. LOL... So I guess I will use the fabric, after a good washing, to experiment with making a fabric tray for the shelf beside the sink. Ungreatful beast! LOL

Cute thread. We don't have any more kitties, but I like that toy with the ball enclosed. One of our furbabies used to have a little ball that she would carry up the stairs in the middle of the night when she got bored. She'd drop it at the top, bump-bump-bump-bump all the way down, then you'd hear her little paws, pat-pat-pat-pat, scrabble, scrabble, scrabble as she caught it again bouncing around in the lower hall. Then repeat. We had to hide it at night or everyone went crazy.

Sandra-P 05-28-2012 06:38 PM

Cute idea! You did a great job on it. Hopefully they will use it.

ShowMama 05-29-2012 08:39 AM

That is so cute! It's almost like her own little "throne".

Right now my living room looks like a packing company, with at least four boxes of different sizes and shapes in the middle of the floor.....a veritable amusement park for our cats Bitty and Willie! Several weeks ago, I tried to get rid of the boxes, so stacked them up to carry them out. Bitty sat down by the stack and would look back and forth from me to the boxes, over and over. DH said, "That's Bitty's box there on the bottom. She wants it back." And she just kept sitting there, looking from box to me to box to me. So, I gave in and pulled that bottom box back out and put it back in the middle of the floor. She immediately hopped in and settled right down. Guess I'll never get rid of that one!

That is too funny! I think she "voiced" her opinion. lol
