Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any good K.I.S.S. sites for rug braiding. I would remember having these when i was a kid and would like to make some. I would like free information if possible.

Thanks a bunch! :)

This topic brings back memories of going into Grama's craft room and seeing hers in progress :D:D:D
She sold them for many years through a furniture store.
They are soooo beautiful, I can't wait to see some of yours :D:D:D I hope that this is another craft that makes a big come back!!!

Crafty bear .... Keep it simple stupid (kiss)... LOL!
I would say don't give the rug a bull's eye in the center, you will never be happy with it.
Use the nice wool if you can so it lasts many years. And if you can, buy a sewing bird to hold it while you are working on it. It saves your strength for the braiding.

Oh sites? I would google it and see what comes up. The video site, is that facebook? No I found it Utube!

I made 2 in the 60's out of wool. got the wool from thrift store men's and women's pants and coats. I made one for the living room and under the dining table. We could not afford carpet. Lots of work but worth the effort.
