I am making a shirt for my DH and it is an easy pattern, one I've made before. I thought, today DH and DS are gone in the truck, DD is at school, I'll have plenty of time to work on it and get it done.

First I ripped out stitches where I messed up last time I worked on it. Then I re-sewed. Then I read the directions and realized I had left a whole step out and had to UNDO all I just did and start over. So I ripped out again. Then I read the directions and none of it makes sense to me. I'm just brain fried. I don't want to even try to make sense of it right now, I'll just mess up some more.

So I thought - maybe I'll do some easy quilting to relax and get unfrustrated. But do I really dare touch a rotary cutter? :)

Listen to or read a nice book for a little while and relax.

Yes! You can do it.
Good luck

I've found that when I'm in this state (frustrated or exhausted), it's time to do something else. If I continue, it snowballs & then I really get undone. Take a break.

Eat some chocolate,
drink some wine
and then you'll see
all things are fine.

Chocolate! Now there's an idea. :)

Reading also sounds nice. Maybe that will be what I "accomplish" today.
