tell us all, the cute little words, your 'adorables', made up, for the ones they couldn't say.
Here's a few that my own kids, and my grandbabies have used:

instead of windshield wipers....'winshipers'
instead of Pepsi.....pep-pep
for a while, instead of being nana, I was 'Nonnie'
instead of calling aunt - Lois,...she was 'Go-ey' :mrgreen:
The stick in a lollipop, was a chicken bone..."i'm all done, here's the chicken bone, mommy!" :lol:

When my twin grandsons were cold, the would say "I have the brrrrr amma!!!!"

oh, how cute! I love that! :lol:

We called chubby cheeks - "pork-porks" :lol:

Once my little cutie pie, DGD, insisted that when she grew up, she was going to have a little hair on her chin like her daddy.
She grew quite irritated, when I tried to explain, that as a girl
she wouldn't :shock: :? :evil:

when my GD was small she would say she was going to "broom it" instead of sweep, and she said "wind it" shen she want to fan you and make you cool. Marge

I have a sister whose name is Darlene. My daughter couldn't say that so she called her Aunt Duh. And it stuck!! My daughter is 30 now and EVERYBODY stills calls sis Aunt Duh! When my daughter was about two, my parents took her out for dinner and she wanted lasagna. They never did figure out what she wanted until I picked her up the next day.

I really had to work with my grbaby #2, to get what she wanted. She had a language all her own, and we had to get her to point, and hold things up, etc.
When she finally started talking more, I would say, "what color is it? or, what do you do with it?" over time she became much more comfortable with her inability to enunciate, bc she knew we would take the time to understand, as best we could. I would always make a big deal, and act like..."oh, silly me",...when I would finally-get it. Took the spotlight off of her.
One grandbaby, can't say grandma, so she says, "ya-ya" :D

My Great Grand daughter, Emma, writes to her Dad in Afghanistan often...and colors pictures for him .......and they all have to be in their own "lemon-ope"
