tell us all, the cute little words, your 'adorables', made up, for the ones they couldn't say.
Here's a few that my own kids, and my grandbabies have used:

instead of windshield wipers....'winshipers'
instead of Pepsi.....pep-pep
for a while, instead of being nana, I was 'Nonnie'
instead of calling aunt - Lois,...she was 'Go-ey' :mrgreen:
The stick in a lollipop, was a chicken bone..."i'm all done, here's the chicken bone, mommy!" :lol:

When my twin grandsons were cold, the would say "I have the brrrrr amma!!!!"

oh, how cute! I love that! :lol:

We called chubby cheeks - "pork-porks" :lol:

Once my little cutie pie, DGD, insisted that when she grew up, she was going to have a little hair on her chin like her daddy.
She grew quite irritated, when I tried to explain, that as a girl
she wouldn't :shock: :? :evil:

when my GD was small she would say she was going to "broom it" instead of sweep, and she said "wind it" shen she want to fan you and make you cool. Marge

I have a sister whose name is Darlene. My daughter couldn't say that so she called her Aunt Duh. And it stuck!! My daughter is 30 now and EVERYBODY stills calls sis Aunt Duh! When my daughter was about two, my parents took her out for dinner and she wanted lasagna. They never did figure out what she wanted until I picked her up the next day.

I really had to work with my grbaby #2, to get what she wanted. She had a language all her own, and we had to get her to point, and hold things up, etc.
When she finally started talking more, I would say, "what color is it? or, what do you do with it?" over time she became much more comfortable with her inability to enunciate, bc she knew we would take the time to understand, as best we could. I would always make a big deal, and act like..."oh, silly me",...when I would finally-get it. Took the spotlight off of her.
One grandbaby, can't say grandma, so she says, "ya-ya" :D

My Great Grand daughter, Emma, writes to her Dad in Afghanistan often...and colors pictures for him .......and they all have to be in their own "lemon-ope"

I know I'm a grown up, lol...but some of these are so cute, I want to use them...lemon-ope! :lol:

GS called McDonalds Nick Dommos. Also, the local fast food chain offers courtesy cones called Kiddie cones. He called them cat cones.

My 2 yr old GS just left from being here for 10 days. Here's my favorite-

My husband drives a Mini Cooper- Noah calls it a mini pooper (We laughed so hard at this, he really thinks that what it is)

My daughter couldn't say wash cloth- she called it crash crash.
Ketchup was keppie (her 4th food group)

My youngest son didn't say diaper- he said bapper. We still call diapers bappers 18 years later.

Oh- he called me grammiebaby since I call him Noah baby, he would laugh after- like he knew he shouldn't be doing it but he did.

I miss him terribly- I swear i dreamed him talking to me, his sweet little baby voice that enunciates each syllable.

When my oldest granddaughter started to talk, she could not say my daughter Lindsey's name, she called her Auntie Whiskey! LOL

We had our grandsons with us when we were buying groceries. My husband put a box of fudgesicles in the cart, and my grandson Ben, 3, said "Oh boy, ice cream on a stick."

My son couldn't say my sister's name- Betsy- he called her Aunt Pepsi. Now they all call her that.

My eldest nephew, now 20, used to call shoes "rah rahs". To this day we have no idea where he got that from!

My mom was telling me today that my great nephew put his hands on either side of her face and said "mawmaw I love you more than a corn dog"

these are all so great, I am just cracking up, here. DH is gone, or he would come running to see what is so funny, and of course, what he was missing! Y'all must be as entertaining as the tv!
I just remembered when bearpaw said rah-rah...one of my younger brothers called me, sha-sha, and he called our dog, ro-ro! :lol:

a friend of mines hubby, well his sisters kids used to call him uncle poop for some reason :oops: :lol:

I also have a niece named Betsy and my grandkids call her Auntie Pepsi.

My brother in law's name is Rich--well, my kids used to call him Uncle Bitch :oops: and when Uncle Bitch would lean over, his pants revealed a "plumber's crack". My kids refer to that as Uncle Bitchie pants now...

My grandchildren all call me Grandma Honey. I just love it.

Instead of spaghetti, they say "puzgetti"...

My grandson has always been so concerned about safety in the car. Even when he was just tiny, he make sure we were all buckled up. If someone wasn't buckled, he would yell--"it's not a safe car!" Even when he isn't with us now, we ask if it is a safe car...

I'll have to think about this for awhile, because I am sure I can come up with a few more.

My youngest DD loves Slim Jims and keeps a box in her closet. My DGD,who is 3, came to me one day wanting a "slam glam". It took me forever to figure out she wanted one of Brianna's Slim Jims.

My granddaughter, when asked which part of the chicken she wanted said chicken on the bone, that was a a chicken leg. About 3, she asked me why her babysitter eats mud and wanted her to eat it too but she wouldn't. After a few questions about it, I found out she was referring to bean dip.

My sister has 5 kids and they each have their own "special words".
I have no idea where they came up with these either
lizard - Galivamp
Aunt Susie - Aunt Shmo
socks - ki's (like eyes with a k sound)

This is coming from a proud Aunt. These words are now part of my great-nephews/nieces vocabulary. I know there are more, but I can't think of them right now.

I remember my own son saying tollerpitter for caterpillar. It cracked me up. When my Granddaughter was small she couldn't say grandpa so she called him Happy which stuck. Now everybody calls my husband "Happy" My Daughter used to say fra fries for French Fries in here cute little voice.

My grand baby(2 and a half) informed me they had "macaroni pizza' for supper last night.(She meant pepperoni)..

instead of "grown up" she says "ground up"

and when i stipple a quilt,she pretends on her machine and says she is STICKLLING,,,

I think I do stickling right now- some days it doesn't look like stippling. I just stuck something on it. :)

my aunt and mom love telling me that when i was little my favorite restaurant was " booger king"--still pretty high up there and when i sang the alphabet and got to 'w' it was bubba-do. my aunt 'fixed' that much to my mother's dismay so my mom then returned the favor with my cousin later on. My twin cousins used to try to tell my their doll was potty training but it sounded like 'chi-chi pot potty' and 'chicken pot pie'. ooh i'd tease them so much---chicken pot pie? really? where? and they keep repeating no! chi-chi pot potty!! They couldn't pronounce my aunt's name (aunt kathy) so they called her aunt khaki--which i still do. and the twins called me whissa, which aunt khaki, uncle steve and my cousin matt-choo still call me. i know there's more.....

I thought of some more--my kids (it's okay to use kids too, right, not just grandkids???) used to say instead of Skippers Fish and Chowder House--Skipper's Fish and Chobber Hops. And when we had macaroni and cheese for dinner, I usually fixed green beans too. They called that 'roni-beans.
My granddaughter Abby used to say whoot paste instead of toothpaste. She also called fingernails, ponernails. Not sure where those came from.
I'm still thinking--I'm sure I'll have more...

When my 4th child came along we had to get a bigger car. Since we did a lot of moving with the Navy we bought a Suburban (still have it 20 1/2 years later) We were at church and talking about an event and my then 4 year daughter came up to me in a group and asked if we could bring the "burbon" again on the picnic. I got some really funny looks.

Another we still laugh about is when my kids were younger I always had the Christian Radio station playing and we heard programs from several different speakers and preachers. During our move to where we live now my 5 year old son saw a Carls Jr Restaurant and said "look mom, there's Chuck Swindolls"

chobber hops...LOL...love it!!!
ALL KIDS SAYINGS, WELCOME HEEERRREEE!!! mousie trying to say in a bigger voice, bc she's short...nelle, just keep 'em coming.

This isn't a saying, but DD #2, at ages 3+4, used to run up behind her daddy, and latch onto his back, jean pockets, and 'swing' back and to...of course, this meant, he better spread 'em real quick, for the ride! :D
DD#3, the youngest, thought our oldest was adopted and told ppl that. We have no idea why! We still laugh about it. :lol:
