Did you see the news on a small plane crashing into a Ferris Wheel in Canberra. no one was hurt and the pilot and passenger had to stay in the plane which was caught in the Ferris wheel for about 3 hours. two kids were on the Ferris wheel for less time and were unhurt too. lucky!! the pilot didn't SEE the Ferris Wheel!!! yikes.

I saw that. I didn't read the attatched story but saw that the plane had hit the ferris wheel. How did he not see the ferris wheel? Glad everyone got out okay.
Not likely to be a problem for me, I won't ride the ferris wheel. Had a terrifying exerience as a small child and all these years later still scared to death of them.

That is a miracle.

The incident happened on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales at Old Bar near Taree.
These accidents can be avoided. The so called Pilot was not licensed to the fly this ultralight aircraft and you don't have to, he can count himself lucky if he gets out of it without any cost.
I am very thankful that the children were unharmed.
We will know the cause of the incident in a couple of days.
