Well we use the steam cleaning process because in home to get our tile floor clean, because we get great results with that steam cleaning. But you need use that with right technique and also regularly.. we clean our house floor daily, i think this is also a reason of our cleaned floors.

I have a steam mop I use on the tile in the kitchen. It doesn't get the grout - I bought a brush with a long handle from QVC that is made to clean grout . It is great. The handle can be shortened and used for the tile around the shower. Don't see a name on the mop - but you might look on their website.

This will not be viable for some of you, but my partner and I have dedicated shoes that we wear only inside the house. In other words, we don't drag in the dirt and grime from the outside world. It's amazing how clean this will keep your floors. All our floors are tiled which we clean with a dry vacuum and a Shark steamer.
