Does anyone know if there is a tutorial online somewhere to make a corset into a purse or if it's even possible. I have a couple of them packed away that were really expensive and hate to just toss them out.

I think it would be much easier than a bra purse. All depends on how the bottom edge is constructed. I would not cut into the boning. Just seam across the bottom, drop in a lining, reinforce the straps and embellish the heck out of it. Good luck!

When I think of turning a ready-made corset into a purse, i know exactly where to stuff my cell phone and car keys for ready access ...

I saw one recently while surfing but unfortunately can't find it right now. I believe it was under a breast cancer bra challenge site.
The ghees.com site suggested starting with an underwire bra. Here are some pics http://www.google.com/search?q=corse...2&ved=0CCYQsAQ |
