Definitely a cheerful color!

trying painting white over it ... or a watered down white ... to soften the color.

Didn't you see where the B was rubbed off - it really read bright blue :) But I like that color

I think the color changes from when we get it at the store and when we put it on the walls. I was over tired and needed to get paint for my bathroom, I know I like bright colors and always tone down my choices when it comes to the walls. However, a very bright BUTTER YELLOW is way to bright for a bathroom. Had to redo it with a softer color sigh

That will really wake you up in the morning!

Maybe they meant it was light blue compared to a dark blue. It would not be a good choice for me. I use off white for all my walls, makes the house look bigger and doesn't clash with the other colors in the room. Just me.

I like it myself. When my kids were small we painted all their rooms and the bathrooms a bright color because it was supposed to make them happier.

You could tone it down by sponge painting over it in white or a lighter blue.

I was going to say what Purple Passion just said...this is what I would do. it's pretty easy to do, too.
