I am trying to put together some ideas for a web site of a quilt shop my friend just purchased. They have invested alot in the purchase, so I am trying to put together a web site, without alot of expense. I have created a couple of other web sites (one an educational organization and the other a retail jewelry site), so know the basics how to create all I want to do. But, finding the right graphics is the issue.

For anyone out there who has created web sites or blogs (or just has seen some great sites) - where are the best places to find free graphics that are quilt-y or fabric looking?

And for all - what do you like (or not) about web sites? Which sites do you use, and as soon as you pull it up your breath is taken away, and why? What about a web site do you find irritating?

Thanks.

Good Luck! It's a big endeavor. The site host may have some things available.

You can also Google 'free quilt graphics' for a lot of results.

I have never put together a website but I am a frequent user of online fabric sources. This is just my .02

I could give a rats behind about graphics etc.

What I want is ease of use and a good picture of the fabric I am considering. A ruler or some other gauge of size in the picture with the fab is wonderful. Please have a link for a larger pic of the fabric. Those little boxes are very hard to tell if this is the right fabric or not. I have bypassed on line shops that only had thumbnail pics of the fabs.
A sort or search by color, theme, manufacturer is great.
Please have pricing and minimums clearly stated
Sites that I like for ease of use...
