WOOO HOOO!!!! My DD passed her CPA exam!!!! She called us this morning and she received her scores on her audit exam and she passed with an 81.
The CPA exams are broken into 4 parts and you have to pass all four parts with a 75 or better. She has been taking these exams over the course of the past year...one at a time.... needless to say it's been an intense and stressful year. She has the ethics exam to take and finish up the paperwork and she will be a CPA !!!! So very happy for her. |
WOOHOO!! Congrats to her!
|
:D..Thanks Terri :D ... yeah, I'm grinnin'

GREAT JOB!!!! Isn't it so WONDERFUL to watch them do so well! :D
|

OO so happy for you.... My daughter is in school also to be an accountant. She will graduate next May with the Bachelors and then we are on to the Masters program.. this is SUCH an intense filed of study my hats off to anyone out there attempting to be an ACCOUNTANT but for those who succeed ... THEY DESERVE IT!!
|
It is so wonderful to see your "children" succeed and I know you share her excitement and sense of excitement.
And, it is no small task to pass the CPA test, much congratulations to her. (and she is lucky to have such a supportive Mom!) :P |
Congratulations to your daughter. One of my daughters is working towards this as well, but she still has a long way to go, life seems to be getting in the way (she has an 18 month old and a baby due November 1).
|
Dawn,
DD got her bachelors in Business Finance and then she went to CASS Business School in London, England and got her masters in International Finance and Accounting. She landed a nice job with the government in DC and took the CPA classes and then the exams... YES it is a very intense field...but she loves it. |
OO mercy my daughter is thinking of International Finance also...she is also hopeing to get a govt job.. we got us some smart ladies on our hands!

DD took 6 weeks/ exam for intense studying = no social life at all... I would think it impossible with babies... they don't understand "mommy has to study" |
