Dear Nala was helped over the Rainbow bridge last Thursday. She was 17 years old. She was my daughter's cat. We got her the year the Lion King came to the theater. She came with her sister, Tommy, a much oranger kitten. They had their first and only plane ride when we moved from Michigan to Washinton, 1997. They got a new buddy, Chico in 2003 and Tommy passed on. The human girls moved on to college and home again only to marry and move away. Soon I was told, "hey, Mom, Nala's moving with us". I cried.
They told me what I always told them. "don't worry, you can get a new kitty". And I did, Monkey, Chico's new love. Nala visited us her last week and left us for the last time. |
So sorry for you and your family!!

So sorry for your loss, she was a beautiful girl (we had a Simba from the same time frame, he'd have been 16 this year if he'd lived, died in 2008)
|
Beautiful girl. My first girlie died when she was 22 years and 4 months. HUGS to everyone.
I know how hard it is to let them. But know in your heart that you have given her the best gift of all. |
Sending a hug your way!
|
Thank you.

My deepest sympathies to you on the loss of your dear Nala. It's very hard to do but it has to be done because we wouldn't want them to suffer.
