I am hoping to attend a sewing event in Denver in September. I am not able to bring my machine on the plane...way too heavy for me to manage as a carry-on, so I am hoping to rent a machine in Denver.

I've called a dealer and the answer was NO. Do any of you know of a dealer that might be willing to help me? Thanks!

I don't think that any dealers rent a machine.

I have a call into the event host to see if they ever bring any machines with them.

If it was being held at a sewing dealer's store...I think they would be willing to help me, but this event will be at a hotel so I would be removing a machine from their premises. I'm still hoping....

In this area, I can rent a machine from our local renter centers... the ones that rent tools, carpet cleaners, etc... I can rent them by the day, week or month :D:D:D

Another thought is to check out the renter centers that rent furniture, appliances, laptops... they rent by the week too. They may possibly have sewing machines too :D:D:D

I live in the area and I have no idea who might do that. I don't believe the rental centers do that.

What hotel will you be at?

I would be staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in Highlands Ranch. It is just off the 470 on Plaza Drive.

It looks like the event host will be able to get me a machine to use during the 3 day event....YAHOO. I am so relieved!
