Does anyopne listen to books on CD while they are quilting or other times? who are you favorites? I have listened to all of Janet Evanovich's Nuimber books with Stephanie Plum and really like that type of author. Now I am listening to Sue Grafton. Of course I only do abridged! Who would ypou ladies suggest that I listen to next? Someone similiar to Grafton or Evanovich. Thanks!

I don't listen to books but I do read them alot. Have read all in both series you mentioned. Just finished the new Evanovitch. I also like James Patterson and I think you might like his murder club series, 1st to Die, 2nd Chance, 3rd Degree, etc. I also like Nora Roberts writing as J. D. Robb in the furistic cop series with Dective Eve Dallas. I do listen to my IPod, music, when I am quilting, or I listen to the TV.

I love J.A. Jance there are a few others but I just go the the library and read through and pick one that peaks my interest.

Sandra Dallas is awesome too. I have listened to her on CD as I quilt. She always mentions quilting in her books.

I used to love to read but now I don't have the attention span to do so (ADHD) I tried to listen to books on tape but I found that I had to close my eyes to concentrate on what was being read aloud which led to me falling asleep. I get distracted too easily and start thinking about other things and miss the story completely!!!!

Listen to books on tape while driving longer distances. Helps make the trip go quicker. :)

yes I do and enjoy keeping with all the new books coming out. when I quilt and sew I don't have much time to set and read.

It is called multi-tasking!!! If you like murder mysteries, try Greg Iles. I particularily like Dick Hill as a reader.

I have to listen to ABRIDGED cd. the unabridged are too long and detailed for me to concentrate on. Thanks for the suggestions ladies! I will try them!

I love to listen to books on CD while driving! Mostly non-fiction for me.
