I've had a few private questions about the dog I'm showing in my avatar and a few have mentioned that they show dogs as well.

Just thought I'd let everyone else know that this Sunday on ABC will be the big dog show the AKC Eukanuba Classic. This show is bigger than Westminster. They also have a "World Challange" where they invite the top dogs from all the countries around the world to compete - whether they show the Best In Show lineup from the World Challange - I don't know - hope so though. In fact my avatar photo was taken at that show. I had three dogs entered.

In the Best in Show for the World Challange watch for the handler with the American Doberman. She face planted BIG TIME (had to leave the ring!). Poor lady, when it happened I kept thinking "that's going to be on TV!!".

Love to watch the shows! Am so in love with the Basenji, Toy Fox Terrier and of course, long haired chihuahua (I have one!)!

No ... coming up THIS Sunday. didn't miss it yet. The actual show was in December, but the televised show is Sunday.

Westminster will be live so I can't tell you ahead of time who won :)

My daughter used to show Weimeraners at dog shows. Now 2 of them live with me & I love 'em. Really smart & fun dogs.I'll have to make sure she knows it's on this Sunday. She just loves to watch those shows. Thanks!
