Don't Be Scared, You'll Get Your Quilt!
 

One of my sisters sent this to me and I just had to share it...lol (hope I posted it in the right place!)


Sunday after church, a Mom asked her very young daughter what the lesson was about.

The daughter answered, "Don't be scared, you'll get your quilt."
Needless to say, the Mom was perplexed.

Later in the day, the pastor stopped by for tea and the Mom asked him what that morning's
Sunday school lesson was about.

He said "Be not afraid, thy comforter is coming."

Too cute! Gotta love kids perception of things!

I remember I thought the words to "Jesus loves me" were "They are weeds and He is straw."

Too funny!! I just emailed this to my pastor. She will love it.

We got a great chickle out of this. Too funny!

As a first grade teacher, one of my fondest memories is listening to the little ones recite the nursery rhymes (Hmm do they still do this today?) One of my favorites was: "Little Miss MUFFIN, sat on a TUFFIN, eating her CURVES and WAVES."

Must have been the child of a quilter . . .
