These are some scenes from my yard today. We have about 6 inches of snow and it is still falling. This is a dry, powdery snow, not the usual slushy mess we get. Temperatures are expected to stay in the low 30's during the day, so this will stay with us for a while.

I'm so happy that this storm missed us. It is cold for us but no snow or ice:)

I'm just east of nashville, on Old Hickory Lake. We've only gotten 2 - 2.5 inches, but Everything has a good blanket on it. Our snow is a big wetter than yours and we had a snowball fight earlier. lol... It had stopped snowing earlier, but looks as though it is starting up again. Have Fun!

I have my sewing machine sitting in front of my dining room window, plan to spend the afternoon sewing while watching it snow
