My mom just ordered herself a singer Quarter 4 in 1 sewing machine from hsn and was wondering what would be a good thread to use for that. Her birthday is in a couple of weeks and would like to have some for her then. I have ordered from metroemb for my machine (brother se400) and like the thread. Is there anywhere else that might be a little cheaper? Thanks for the help... hopefully she doesn't look in this section to see it LOL

I've bought Robinson Anton from Shoppers Rule. Recently bought mini kings 700 yds for $1.29 each. That was a special sale but yesterday they still had a few left. Allbrands sell lots. I considered buy 50 small cones from them(RA) but the shipping made it too expensive.

I wouldn't buy too much thread for it until she tries out some different brands and sees what the machine likes. Some machines work much better with some brands than others. It's really weird. I have two Brother machines and there are some threads that work great in one and not the other.

sulky, yli, connecting threads, atlanta thread company, superior threads, dmc,
are a few good thread sources
