This is her story; Part 1
In my travels to and from, I pass a small trailer park. One day I noticed a small puppy with a big head teathered with a big chain to a tree near the road I pass. There was an old recliner by this tree which was her bed. Rain, sleet or snow that little dog was standing or sitting near the tree. After I could no longer stand it, I stopped to see the little dog with the big head, she was sooooo glad to see someone. Her eyes were matted shut and a hunk of skin was missing from her nose. I noticed she was a female and that explained the other dogs hanging around her. I was so disturbed by this I even thought about taking her right then. I had to think about my approach to her owner and try to catch that person who was never at home. |
Anxiously waiting for Part 2....
Looks to me like a happy ending:)
I LOVE that face!!!
I love her big muzzle. :)
HURRY!
So glad you got her, waiting for part 2.
Since her eyes are open and her nose is healed, it looks like you did rescue her. That's good enough for me, even though I am waiting for part 2, as well. God Bless you for getting Sugar.
I pass a dog, that is chained, every time I go to town. It makes me physically ill to see it. |
My next door neighbor chains both of his dogs. I absolutely hate it. It makes me cry. My dh is just as upset as I am. We have 3 rescue dogs or I would go over and ask if I could keep theirs. I can't adopt all mistreated dogs, but I surely would like to.

People who have dogs that are chained shouldn't have dogs. There's a fairly new law in CA that they can't be chained at the same spot for over 3 hours, but people still do it. You want a dog, you should have a yard of some kind, in my opinion. Thanks for rescuing her.
