My son won a twitter contest and won passes to the space shuttle landing tomorrow morning. He and I are flying to Orlando tonight! I'm so excited! I've watched it all from John Glenn in the 4th grade to the moon landing in the summer before the 12th grade, through Apollo 13, the Challenger disaster and beyond until now and I can't believe I have this wonderful opportunity......provided I can stay awake all night!!

watching history in the making - up close & personal - how exciting. You'll have to write about your experience to share with your family's future generations.

That is very exciting!
We saw the shuttle land at Edwards AFB once. It was our anniversary and we were working in our home office when they announced it was going to be there. We lived about an hour away so off we went. But it will be extra special for you two since it is the final mission! |
That's so fantastic! If you can you should take pictures and put a few up here!
