I know the original gal who made the fabric fling quilt posted here also later made a post on how to make the blocks...I cant find it at all. Could it have gotten deleted it doesnt show in "my posts" either

the "pattern" in question is just an ever-so-slightly upscale string quilt.

here's a free set of instructions for the same public domain design. you can use any number of strips that pleases you; any fabric selections; any block size.

Bonnie makes hers by cutting the starting block into two triangles and then playing with sets of four. the other method involves cutting the starting block into four triangles and rotating those to get the desired effect.

it all works out the same ... except you get to keep the money in your pocket (or use it to buy fabric. :lol: )

I *think* the OP thought if she had bookmarked a topic, it was saved in her personal area and couldn't be deleted, not realizing that the link would no longer work if the original post was deleted. That's how it struck me, anyway! 8-)

Willferg, you exactely right,i do have trouble saying what i mean.......i did think that if i had it saved, it would stay with me even if it hadbeen deleated on deleated on the forums
