Three years ago (Jan.6, 2008) I was diagnosed with CLL, a type of Leukemia. I had to have my spleen removed as it was very enlarged and full of cancerous cells (they took my gallbladder, too, because it was full of gallstones). I took six rounds of chemo and am still doing biological (immune) treatments. Before this I had never been in the hospital or seriously ill. The whole experience has been difficult, but I feel lucky to be in remission and very grateful for my DH, family and friends.

Hi Bridget, yes you are lucky. Fully enjoy each and every day and make as many quilts as you can. quilting is great therapy.
Delores P lives in Seguin too. I think she retired recently.

What a good New year report. :-)
Keep focusing on this rather than the problem and may your future be brighter each and every day.
