Technology these days is progressing so fast that Janebo is really finding it hard to grasp it all. I have tried to download a photo of myself and it hasn't happened plus also a photo of one of my sampler wall hangings. Living out in a remote farming area in Western Australia and quite a distance from the nearest big town... to learn more on computers is a mission and a half. Any suggestions to help me.

Put it in quilting perspective...it takes practice. The more you do it, the easier it will become. And you'll never know it all. What fun would that be? Always keep learning.

First, find where you store your pictures on your computer. When you go to loading them onto here, you will need to be able to locate them.

Click on new topic, then after filling in the title and description, click on the browse button. this will let you choose where to go in your computer to get the picture(s) you want to show here. Click where your pictures are stored, and then click on the picture you wish to have here. then click on ok.

DO NOT CLICK ON PREVIEW this will delete your pictures. This feature is for text only

Repeat this for each picture you want to include in your post. :D:D:D

hi from alaska! i open the help buttons and read everything. i google and read what i find. i give most things a try and it usually turns out o.k. i've lost a whole file of pictures several times, but the hardest thing i've tried to master is facebook. but i'm doing better now!
practice, practice, practice!
if it's something new to do, i leave the instructions in the tray so i can refer to them as needed.

Gee thanks for that and I'll give it a go. Being computer illiterate is a big bug to bear... that's why technology and the new way of life is hard for me sometimes but I'll get there.
