This may be silly to some, but when you live in Minnesota where the growing season is short and it has rained buckets here the last 2 days but today we picked fresh lettuce, zucchini, red onions and shorty carrots from our garden !!!
Hubby is washing it off now and I'm going to make big ol' Caesar salads for dinner. Yummmmmy!

I agree-Yummy, Yummy! Our garden is producing now and I'm wondering what I'll do with all the cukes I picked today!

I love cukes - sometimes I just take a bunch of the smaller ones for lunch at work and sit there and peel and eat 'em.....my whole row smells like fresh cukes when I do that !!

We are enjoying fresh produce from the summer stands and markets. So far this summer I have purchased 3 watermelons hubby and I enjoyed eating. Love the fresh sweet corn on cob, also. Keep forgetting to buy some zucchini.

Welcome from another Minnesotan. Glad you were able to pick your veggies. The rabbits got most of mine.

I am SO looking forward to fresh veggies from the garden. I have a few pots of tomatoes on my patio and my DS and DDIL saved some space in their garden for me. In the meantime, I stop at the farmer's market on my way home from work on Thursdays.
