Was looking for some pellon fusible in one of my storage trunks. Never guess what I found. Three or four yards of ultrasuede. The real stuff! Had totally forgotten I had it. I do remember the purchase now. Wanted to make a suit but was scared to cut into fabric. Now that I am retired, don't need suit anymore. How do you work $70 yard fabric into a quilt? Anyone want to make a suit? lol

I found Irish wool in my chest and sold it as there will be no more suits for me.

sell it on ebay, use the proceeds for quilt fabric!!

Lucky you! Ultra suede is great for appliqué.

Would it work for a bag of some sort?
|
It would make a great quilt. I saw someone on Simply Quilts make one once, and can't find that show on the website. He cut the ultra suede into squares and put them so the nap made it look like shading. It was beautiful. I made a "mock" one out of microfiber using the same technique and it came out just fine. But, If I were "in the chips" I would have used real ultra suede.

My friend made me a bag and put it on the bottom quarter and wide straps. I love the look of the suede and cotton together.
