A funny

Milk and eggs

This is a story which is perfectly logical to all males:

A wife asks her husband,
"Could you please go shopping for me and buy one carton of milk,
and if they have eggs, get 6."

A short time later the husband comes back with 6 cartons of milk.
The wife asks him, "Why did you buy 6 cartons of milk?"

He replied, "They had eggs."

(I'm sure you're going back to read it again!)

Ain't it the truth. no logic to women when you ask for a carton of milk and 6 eggs. she didn't specify 6 eggs. how's your weather down there? or up here? Minot area was great today. some people seemed to think they should drive a vehicle out on the ice to fish and fell through around the Tolley area where they were told was open water yesterday and to stay off the ice. 2 dead and 2 rescued. no names yet. Not far from me.

I asked my husband what he would get if given those directions. He said he'd bring back half a gallon of milk, and 6 dozen eggs, so I guess it is all about perspective. I probably would have questioned the 6 eggs. Do you only want half a dozen??? I have learned through the years I have to be specific when I send him and if it is more than 1 item, I send a list.

Unbelievable! The Husband goes shopping?!

My Husband does all the shopping but I have to be specific with brands sizes and how many. He is a keeper! I had him start doing it when he started caring for his elderly mother and was going there to do her shopping anyway.

Yeah that's funny, I guess he hasn't been trained yet.

My DH goes shopping and it is always a surprise with what he brings. If I send him I always designate name brands because he has no clue about which off brands to buy and will find the cheapest and smallest of whatever I ask for (he thinks I am real thrifty and I would buy that brand and size LOL) He is a keeper and he does try and never complains about going shopping even though he hates it.

I can believe this for when TV dinners were all the rage I left one for my husband to fix for his dinner. He was on swing shift. I came home to a house filled with smoke. He cooked it in the regular over (no microwaves in those days) BOX and all. Seemed logical to him. Note: the directions now read Remove from box so maybe he wasn't the only one.
