Funny thing my grandaughter said !

My dear 5 year old g/d was watching TV with her Mum and an advert came on for "Bodyform" feminine towels. When the advert finished she looked at her Mum and said, "I could do with some of them "
Her Mum - shocked at her comment - asked "why" ?
"I could put them in my shoes to make it softer to walk in them" she replied.
My DD laughed so much - to herself of course!

It is a joy to listen what children say of what they observe around them!

That's what's so wonderful about children, their complete innocence. It's so refreshing. I sure miss those days. My GD will be 19 in April.

No - they don't hurt -- they are nearly new ! I think she thought they would be like cushions of air LOL !

My grandson asked me what "those" were for, and I told them that ladies use them for under their arms when they sweat. That satisfied his 4 year old little mind.

I remember 50 years ago,my 5 year old sister wrapping them in wash clothes and using them for beds for her Barbie dolls.

My 6yo DGD (then 4) asked me what they were (where is mama and daddy when you need them?) and I simply said they were personal girl items. She then said "Can I have one to put in my "makeup" bag?" I wish Daddy (my son) had been here to answer her questions...he's an OB-GYN!!!!
