I had panty hose hanging from the crotch of my pants one time. I was in a hurry when changing clothes to run. When I got redressed I forgot about the panty hose. We were square dancing and the hose started sliding down. My DH was more embarrassed than I was. He kept saying get them, get them.

Many years ago, when double knits were all you could find, I was teaching with a lady in her 60s. One morning as Eileen walked down the hall, a pair of panty hose came slinking out of her pant leg. I stopped her and asked what it was...she was mortified. She had gotten her pants out of the dryer that morning and apparently the panty hose stuck staticly. One of my favorite memories of her. Almost as funny as the time she was going to do a collage activity with her second graders. She needed magazines and grabbed a stack from the stairway that went up to her son's apartment above their home. When she began, she told her students to get magazines from the back table. She noticed a group of little guys just snickering and pointing away. When she walked back there, she was horrified to see her son had put Playboy magazines in the stack he was discarding. OMG, we laughed and teased her for ages!!!

When I was a teenager I went on a date with a boy that I hadn't known very long. (He later became my husband---We will be married 47 years tomorrow.) We went to a movie. He put his arm across my shoulders and pulled it back and said, "What's this?" My mother babysat for a little girl who was about 18 months old. I had grabbed my sweater out of the dryer and did not notice that a pair of Nanette's training pants was clinging to the back of it. Boy was I embarassed! We laugh about it now, but it sure wasn't funny then. DH thought it was funny, but I didn't.
