Remember that postage goes up by 2 cents on MOnday April 11.

I will have to go through my stamps  AND quit buying the ones that do not have the amount printed on them

The post office here ran out of the Forever Stamps. Can you believe it? Everyone has been buying them up.

You can still use the stamps that do not have an amount on them. In fact if you buy a bunch now you will save money, You may use them as long as they last.

tirnhi, can you order them over the internet?

tlrnhi 05-07-2009 07:12 PM

I don't know. I don't mail letters that much, mainly packages, so it's really not worth it to me to buy hoards and hoards of them. I do have 3 books of them, that I have had since they first came out.

Amma, the ones with no amounts are the FOREVER stamps - they will still be good, one stamp for one letter! Don't stop getting them.

Amma, like Moonpi said....KEEP those. those will NEVER expire. Those are the ONLY stamps I have. I have actually used 2 of them one time on a letter I sent to a friend because I was too lazy to go to post office for exact amount. Letter got there fine using the 2 stamps.
They treat the Forever Stamp just like whatever the denomination is at the time.

Oh ya, it's been hard for me to write May. I LOVE May too, but those senior moments creep up closer and closer.
