I have a piece of lace left over from my wedding dress. It isn't large and is sort of triangular in shape. Do you have any suggestions as to how we might incorporate it in her wedding. She has purchased her dress.
Thank you. I look forward to hearing from you. Esther |
could you make a garter
maybe use the lace to put in a picture frame along with her wedding invitation |
tucked into her bouquet? scented and tucked into her bosom?
an embellishment on the ringbearer's pillow? |
Can it be hemmed and turned into a lovely hanky? Or perhaps added to and cover the ring pillow?
|
put away with a piece of HER wedding dress for a baptismal dress for her own child.
|
I have seen where they have wrapped the bouque with the lace very pretty and sentimental
|
can it be put in the headpeice of her veil?

One of my Grandma's gave me a bible that Grandpa gave her to carry at their wedding, it was very much used. My other Grandma (her name was Esther too) gave me a handkerchief that Grandpa gave her to carry at their wedding. I put the handkerchief inside the bible and carried them both with a small bouquet of flowers. You may not need to do anything with it. Ask your granddaughter if she has any ideas.
I still have both of those together on my mantel and think of my Grandma's all the time. |
I would make a garter. I just made one for my BFF dd using lace from a nightgown that belonged to her grandmother,
